UFC Atlanta Results: Usman vs. Buckley

MMA Fighting has UFC Atlanta results for the Usman vs. Buckley event, a live blog for the top two fights, and more from State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Saturday night.

In the main event, former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman returns to the division to fight streaking contender Joaquin Buckley. This marks Usman’s first fight in the 170-pound division since losing a trilogy bout to Leon Edwards in March 2023, while Buckley is currently on a six-fight win streak that coincided with a drop down from middleweight.

Rose Namajunas, No. 13 on MMA Fighting’s Pound-for-Pound list, takes on Miranda Maverick in Saturday’s flyweight co-main event. “Thug Rose” is a two-time strawweight champion chasing new glory at 125 pounds but she is in need of a win after dropping a decision to Erin Blanchfield in her most recent outing. On the other side, Maverick chases her biggest win yet as she looks to add to a four-fight win streak.
